Today we hosted Stu Graham for a “paint and create” thing, he spent the whole day at the shop. It was just a day of painting and drawing, finished off with a quick session at the new park. Stu wanted to spend the day rather than the usual in and out nature of usual meet and greets. I can’t thank him enough for doing this today. ---

It’s going as well as you’d think for opening a skate shop in a small northern city 😅 In all seriousness though it’s going well, we’re certainly growing and nurturing the scene. We celebrated our first anniversary this month, I’ve learnt a lot during the last year. And we’re trying to put things in place to make things better for the businesses, but it’ll take time to make a difference. I did also get a job delivering for Tesco part time, just 20 hours a week for some stability and to take pressure off having to take that money out the shops each month. In August we did our first jam which was a great success and people wanted a Halloween one, so we have that coming up in the next couple of weeks. There’s no money in running a skate shop but I love it and wouldn’t change it for the world. We’re skint but we both get to do what we love. ![IMG_6965](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/3/b/3b1f917f829febe00bc0baa2833875fe3137927c.jpeg) ![DSC05387](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/3/6/3625883663b50056bd8fcccac4ee409e51b8752f.jpeg) ![att.XtqqzsTuPzPJrkv-9nlBWyPqMY5Hto0DTfsgDThn2HY](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/6/2/625fbe5db171d7d4342d8406a3e81517d8d458b5.jpeg) ![IMG_0330](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/1/a/1af1c0e4a95d2eb63679b36a3fc4c10f5f22a1a5.jpeg) ![DSC04907](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/3/0/30016c1c101572dec6b5e3f2f5b6f4562df657dc.jpeg) ![image](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/c/9/c9ebffe64049e9e909cf6777a253513a16c7f669.jpeg) ![IMG_7515](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/b/4/b4b20bfb5d2237c879c824c8039f774ea918eb82.jpeg) ![image](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/2/b/2ba4af670f3d12ff150f35ba73ecf121fb6875d7.jpeg) ![att.fuHUGaPNjfFCY8Hed9ZeDh-zq-UPTIRjvsxl7XjhU6k](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/5/4/5495268d03103aea00d7898b8a7a9a78c3b944ed.jpeg) ![DSC04855](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/7/f/7f6bfeb105f3f4f1299c1bd36a50e88ca97b3107.jpeg) ![IMG_7287](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/4/2/4203202d7b1a4aed5de252668e82a13b35e97dd1.jpeg) ![IMG_7290](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/3/b/3b6f696eec911db0a991568e935769a7d63caf2e.jpeg) ![image](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/a/8/a8f329a94fe2d9081528ac1c18ee9b27f57719de.jpeg) ![IMG_7080](https://uksf-media.lon1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/original/3X/e/d/ede82ffda4d273cae27ff0e16642b130571b024e.jpeg) ---
