Advice for someone getting back into skating

Definitely look into callisthenic classes which will build strength and flexiblity through bodyweight exercises and stretching.

I have one ankle with a metal plate in it, and the other with ligament reconstruction surgery. I wear these sport-specific ankle supports, as worn by Andy Murray. Added bonus is the plastic splint gives a bit of protection from board strikes
