Stumbled on this looking for a old Norwich scene vid call Inbred (break out last part from Chewy) which I still can’t find. Bedlam was a Norwich stake jam/comp, started in 96. First one was just a few ramps and rails on a stretch of path in Chapelfield Gardens (the comp was won by Greg King who beat out favourite Tom Crowe). Fast forward a couple of years and Bedlam was like a mini festival with bands, DJs, and visiting skate teams like the Blueprint crew. This little clip brought back some good memories. Also, for those who might not know the name, Tom Crowe was a heavy skater in Norwich back in the late 90’s who some how never really seemed to get much coverage.

My brain can’t remember what it did last week or what it’s supposed to do today, but that thumbnail immediately evokes a strong memory of a magazine article from almost 30 years ago and I’ve never been to Norwich.

I remember Tom Crowe from the meanwhile bowl jams that Zac from Crossfire was involved with.

Didn’t he BMX too?

Speaking of that article, I seem to remember a photo of a Tom (might have been him, or Tom Lock) doing a weird handplant out of a ramp, staring down the camera.

Not sure that was either of the Toms. Might have been James Fuller?

He did, just one of those annoyingly talented people. Around that time he was doing kickflips over the funbox to back 5.0 down the other side. That would still stand up today.

That same year my mate also sacked himself on the spine trying a transfer in his comp run.

No idea, just remember the photo from the mag… thinking it might have been this person: https://youtu.be/uk65gLa9c5Y?t=30

I’ve got a high quality rip of Inbred somewhere - will have a look

Duffman’s section is so good, i definitely didn’t fully appreciate it at the time.

This is great.

This boardslide popped up today I’ve seen it before but it’s still mad.
