Done a lot for the scene down our way those two. Dainton’s Kill City era was a lifeline for a lot of the South Wales skaters and Habgood radiates positive energy

First time I met Joyce it was at some skate event in Oxford. I was staying with horse and wig iirc, we went to pub, he turns up in full suit and tie, puts a lit banger up his arse and lets it off with pants round ankles in middle of pub. Genuinely gnarly

The first time I went to Rocky City in Nottingham and as we were getting our first drink in (non skate event, normal Friday night), he ran past, streaking through the club being chased by bouncers.

I think the first time I saw him was at the radlands champs, dressed as a gimp, and repeatedly screaming “get yer fucking nads out” at Reynolds when he went up to collect his 1st place prize.

Randomly met Joyce at a music festival (Big Chill I think it was) sometime in the 2000s. We watched Norwegian ambient legend Biosphere perform live before heading our separate ways.
No anal pyrotechnics or heckling, so not much of an anecdote like…
