Haven’t skated since October when I got that rock fakie thing that was my last trick in Bun This. Prior to that I’d had a month off after tweaking my foot.
Feel that I’ve made enough progress this last year in getting my skate legs back, so hoping it won’t take me as long to get going again come spring.
Fuck ‘em, they wear kecks with all over prints on them

I got my clip (such as it is) in the solitary 45 min session of 2025 I managed. I skated about 30 minutes in 2024. Just injuries, work and - mainly - excuses to blame really. Having something to bother trying to get clips for, even at my rubbish standard, will be a pretty good motivator to get out more.

I have a rule that I have to do at least one kick flip every time I skate. Just so I know I can still do it.
Finally got my first skate at 50 on Friday after 6 weeks off due to work and back luck with the weather and it was really good fun. Just going through the standards down at the curb but felt great.
On the new freshie that I had on ice too.

I have that rule too, although I have just realised I didnt actually do one on my first skate of the year yesterday. Turn 50 in about 4 weeks.
