It is.

Fair. You sure on run up, though? Lloyds run up is at best exactly the same…

To quote Les, eh? Look at the graph thing -

If anything it’s gnarlier because the last step is higher and its only slightly shorter than Wallenberg

Oops wrong thread, turns out I can’t do three things at once, haha.

I found Steinton insanely awkward but that’s cause I was threading through the gap in the bench. I seem to remember the ‘normal’ runup seeming too short or something. It sucked either way

Regarding the video I’ve never understood how Joslin can generate so much speed just by throwing down onto his board, he doesn’t even push once to that heelflip

i felt the same way about his UC berkley tre flip. it didn’t look like he was going THAT fast but he kept clearing it

Yeah, the runup to the Sneinton 3 is very weird. If you don’t thread the gap you end up having to clear further because of the way the stairs are angled.

Also, I know it’s at a skatepark but the Dev Green 3 block is tall.

Haha I used to live in brighton and a bmxer was telling me how he did that stair set, he just took his brakes off so he couldn’t back out. Bmxers are mental

You ever seen Brighton Ain’t Ready? BMX video filmed around here, there’s two of them I think. They absolutely fuck everything up, I think someone 360s that rail at some point. There aren’t even many BMXers round here, I think Brighton is just known as a good city for spots.

Edit - number 1. 360 down churchill square at 13:20

Number 2

Yeah I gave the two a quick leap the other week and found that rumble well awkward as well. Run up to the 3 is horrendous

Just realised from looking at the water tower on that slap diagram, it’s like ollieing a 14 stair in terms of length, with the added difficulty of the stairs not actually dropping away in front of you, oh and you’re miles above the ground in a certain-paralysis/death kinda way

That chart needs the Rowley shipping containers including.

Is that Manchester gasworks gap thing still there that was Ollied about 20 years ago?

Nah the Gasworks are long gone

Make sense, it would surely have been kickflipped and more by now

There was a vid/docu on the Gasworks, scene and demise knocking about a few years back. Vimeo maybe? I can’t remember sorry.
