It’s like the Robert Elms show when listeners pick some odd part of London with a weird question and all afternoon people ring in to offer their insights.

Probably of zero help, but I’m pretty sure that’s from a Team Dead Cow article in the June 89 issue of RaD. It was my first ever skate magazine.

Spex is royalty. Absolute ruler.

Just on the subject of Lockleaze above, I think it was in the first 50-50 shop video iirc.

Sometimes writing extensive captions can be counter-productive

That’s a leftover from the full article from the July issue.

Benny saying you could back lip it now? What’s going on?

Bob had a backlip sequence, right?

I think it was run next to this…1997.
Could be wrong, of course…

Bob had a ‘Survivors’ interview in Sidewalk around 97 ish.
IIRC the backlip sequence was in that.

CJ and co actually lived right by Droitwich (as it’s more Worcs than Brum/Wolves, right).
He’s saying it was totally gone by late 98early 99

Yeah, and I didn’t really skate transition at all till about '96-'97, so by the time that sort of spot would have interested me and I was driving up and down the country to skate stuff, it was gone.

No way, was late 90s because I wanted to go but never got the chance. Pretty sure Vaughn got a photo there in the late 90s.

This would have been filmed around 1997 and contains a bunch of footage at the banks.

Stoked to see this again, thanks!

Talking of Benny, banks and Brum, where’s this then?

Are ‘Edgeware’ and ‘Lisson Green’ the same park or 2 different parks? We know Edgeware ended up in Fakenham, but if Lisson Green was a separate park is it possible that’s what ended up at Meanwhile 2 (or at least bits of it)?
