Where I live there’s a 95% double vax rate with boosters on the way. It appears as though real life is an echo chamber to these guys as well. Must be frustrating for them.

As a historian I would like to point out that the ‘sleepwalkers’ idea relates to WW1 and not WW2, Maajid seems confused there. Also the ‘banality of evil’ idea has been massively controversial as it downplays the complicity of the people who are part of the fascist regime and it’s supporters. It doesn’t make any sense in the context of a vaccine which people can and are opting out of.

That’s what I always come back to with this, it’d be great to let everyone choose for themselves but with such pressure on the NHS it’s the best option.
It almost makes me wonder what would happen if WW2 were to play out again today, if people were forced enlist in the army and go to war in order to protect an ally would they just no and let others die needlessly?

This video is actually from a doctor doing a deep dive into the latest data. No real agenda being pushed as far as I can tell.
He seems optimistic about hospitalisations from Omicron not being as high as feared because they haven’t increased in SA in line with the huge numbers of Omicron cases.
What he misses, and I think this is what Whitty was getting at on Wednesday, is that SA had their previous wave in the summer, whereas we had ours last Winter. Natural immunity will therefore be greater in SA. Fortunately we have a greater proportion of the population vaccinated, but omicron has shown vaccine resistance. Hence the big booster campaign.
I am cautious over making big comparisons between SA and UK at this stage. As we’ve learnt, it’s better to be cautious.
Edit: he is not a doctor but a retired nurse teacher. So not an epidemiologist but likely to have a lot of familiarity with interpreting medical data.
Double edit: some of his videos have been viewed a lot by the anti-vaxx crowd. He talks about natural immunity in one and interviews someone who has had a negative reaction to the vaccine in another.
Is there any truth to the rumour that Covid introduces a dna marker that enables the Chinese government to send 5g signals to your brain? I head that if you get covid and aren’t vaccinated then China can use 5g to augment your reality and change the world you see. The vaccine is another dna agent that cancels out the Chinese one in covid. Some people are saying that the Supreme tin on Kier Starmers shelf was a 5g augmented reality experiment by the Chinese government.
Don’t know if true and no personal agenda just stating what I hear for open discussion. You have to question every possibility.

I’ve never been there but from what I hear South Africa is a bit warmer than it is here. I’m no retired nurse teacher but a virus that thrives in the cold probably isn’t kicking off in SA like it is here.
