I’m not biting today
OMG! Me too! Don’t get me started on THAT after a couple of drinks, I tell you.
I’m biting because I’m literally just back from getting my booster.
The crux of this video seems to be regarding proper delivery of the vaccine via injection - they’re claiming that the fact that the majority of Covid delivery is via injection that doesn’t aspirate is causing potentially negative side effects. He wants all injections to be via aspiration (drawing back of the plunger before injection) like you used to see in the old days, instead of jab and push.
I’m not sure what the relevance of this video is other than being yet another attempt to dissuade people from getting the vaccine by giving them yet another thing to potentially be afraid of. Most people won’t know what aspirating is. I didn’t, I just had to Google it.
Another quick Google also shows up numerous articles saying that there is neither enough evidence for or against the need to aspirate injections to make a decision either way. So this video is doing nothing but scaring and misleading people.
A third Google search also shows that the presenter isn’t actually an expert in any of those areas and had previously pushed ivermectin as a reliable medication for Covid.
Didn’t that cube-headed bellend podcaster spout the same bullshit?
Be honest Warwick, is this you?
The video was actually pro-vaccine. The point was that when you’re getting the vaccine make sure that they aspirate the needle before giving the injection (which should be standard practice when giving IM injections) to make sure that the needle is in the muscle and not accidentally in a vein. In the discussion they were suggesting that this may have caused some of the serious systemic adverse reactions if those administering the vaccine were not aspirating before they gave the dose.
It’s harder than you think to get a vein by accident, as someone who had to have a pint of blood out every month (and very healthy veins). I got bruised up like a peach more than once by them being missed. They are not stupid and the areas picked for injection are fatty muscular areas. Top of arms, butts, ect… for these types of injections.
While you say the video is pro-vaccine, you still sell it as a scare story ‘The things that can go wrong!!!’ and not the things that will probably go right… you can see that, huh?
If the majority of heroin addicts are able to continuously inject themselves in the right places I’m happy that our trained vaccinators are capable.
I get that, but it’s being deliberately framed in a way as to aim to prevent people from getting the vaccine by inducing fear in them because of this thing that could potentially go wrong. Surely you see this?
Plus it’s YouTube video from a guy who used to be an a&e nurse, it’s not a credible source for legit vaccine related advice.
Did anyone react strongly to the boosters? I’m starting to feel pretty wiped and my arms killing me again
I was fine until I had a wank the next day and my cock just came off. Do your research kids.
What vaccine did you have? Moderna booster gave me a mild headache the next day which lasted over 24 hours. My arm was pretty sore too.
Had my booster yesterday morning and had no issues at all.
That’s what we all said. Just wait. It’ll get you when you leas
Oh shi
I had mine on Sunday and the only negative affect was a really vivid dream about someone hacking into my bank account with a modified game boy. Woke up so stressed.
Had the Moderna yesterday and it fucked me up last night. Alternating between being boiling and shivering, arm feels like it’s been run over and i had to get up at 4 because i was convinced i was going to throw up and shit myself.
Just had some paracetamol and a load of water and hoping it will pass
