How many live gigs/live sport/weddings are they going to? I see your point but I’m pretty sure we are all living very differently now and it’s still spreading somehow. Maybe it’s mostly the unis and people not bothering as much to do what they can to stop the spread now, I dunno.

Comparing it to flu isn’t really dimishing it. An average flu season takes around 15000 lives and puts pressure on hospitals but every single year. And that’s with vaccines. I’m not trying to say that we should just ignore it and it’ll go away but if they don’t come through with a vaccine after this winter then there is going to have to be an honest appraisal of the real options. Because indefinite lockdowns isn’t really workable.

it really bugs me how celebrities can say dumb, potentially dangerous shit and it gets forgotten about and they can get on with their careers
that pop star bint Anne-Marie was harkin on about 5G and corona being fake. now she’s getting prime radio play on her latest tunes. if you have an audience and say ridiculous shit you should lose that audience

He was laughing and chatting out loud with no mask on, I thought let’s see what what happens if I fake coughed and sneezed . He got really uneasy and pulled out a mask And put it on to his annoyance.
Lucky my mask hid my smirking.
A nattering group of girls just further down the carriage kept taking their masks on and off between my coughs and sneezes . Fucking idiots , if I had no mask the germs don’t disappear when someone unmasked stops coughing and sneezing .
