Something similar was reported very early on in September and then disappeared from the news. It was something along the lines of the Spanish mutation being brought back to the UK after the end of lockdown 1 when people went on holiday.
At the time it was suggested that said Spanish mutation was very likely going to smash through schools/teachers which sort of seems to be what happened.
Christ, I should’ve guessed! Let’s hope the vaccine still does the job.
This has already happened a few times with covid, I just don’t remember one being better at spreading

From what I’ve read it would be more strange if it didn’t mutate.
Surely the time of year and weather has something to do with the spread etc though? No surprise London etc has gone into tier 3 though.

Daughter sent home from school to isolate today. She has no symptoms but a girl in one of her classes tested positive on saturday… School has shut all of year 11 down until January.

My mum came to the doorstep the other day to see my youngest for his birthday and deliver the news that she is canceling coming for Christmas as planned.
Similar age and state of health.
She’s done that with my 5yr old but he doesn’t get it because he sees his other grandparents.
