If anyone is about Friday/Saturday night the places to go are:
For food-The Exeter Arms on Exeter place, Spoons by the Cathedral or if you want the best curry, The Spice Lounge.
For mellow drinks-Bar One on Newland street. Dont be a dick to the owner, he is rad.
Exeter Arms is also pretty rad. Myself, Forde, Dacline and BDF will probs be at the Exeter after work.
Derby is tiny so all of this is within 10 mins walk of snakes and right in town.
Challenges are sorted-ridiculous as always.
Loads of prizes + Voltarol gear for everyone [while stocks last]
Dacline is showing a Cliche retrospect film by Monolostapes which goes out on Thrasher in a few weeks and is RADICAL.
Weather looks a little touch and go but it pissed it down yesterday and was dry in 20 mins. Plus if there was ever a skateboard event where the act of skateboarding was the least important part of said event, its this one.
See you Saturday.
PS-I got stickers for anyone who brings baguettes-all will be revealed.
@KeithBeef aware you kindly shared some Derby spot tips a while back but what car park spots / curbs would you recommend? Thinking Friday evening if raining…
Chapel St car park his a good multi story with the yellow curbs that go down between the levels. Better ones to skate are near the top with a mellow bank in there too. But harder to get in now unless you just park in there.
