Ah! I asked Kev Parrot what is was for and he said it was a prize for Pegnet! I’m a gullible dick. Was a surprise to see Scott Palmer there, skated the mini with him at the end, effortless pointy salads! I kept meaning to say hi to you, but you were on mic duties all day.

Phew, home, decompressed, full of steak, chips, Guinness 0 and now exhausted! Ankle iced, all good. Always overwhelming. Would have liked to have skated more but wary of re-rolling my ankle before it is fully recovered, plus it was reaaallly busy.
What a great day though. Weather a bit of a pisser but all good but last year was too hot so can’t win them all.
But I think I got to say hello and meet nearly everyone even if a little briefly - I think @Londonskater being the briefest with a fist bump and ‘alright!’ 
@nedertron - Lovely to finally meet you, we kinda weren’t in the same place for much of the day! Didn’t realize how light the Gonz
@Frocker - a pleasure. If you manage to make it down Stoke on a Thursday night that’d be ace. Good regular crew, not too busy during the summer and always a warm welcome. Should try and work something out with Adam and Maxwell, it has been far too long.
@nav - Good times! Safe trip back mate! Sorry to break it to you about the Aussie accent 
@anonymity - all good! Had a laugh when we saw Hockey Grove come out haha. I quite fancy a trip up Leeds way TBH, try and get Ewens out of retirement, but I know that might be a difficult one

Fun day.
I was just shattered and I think my social battery was pretty depleted already this week - so apologies if I wasn’t very talkative with anyone. I think I basically talked to @anonymity , @mark, Skipp and big Harry and that was about it…and they each probably got about a full minute.
I then did a quiet exit midway through the Cliche piece.
Love these events.

It was overwhelming (I think I already said). My photos are terrible tbh. Only selfie I got was @Frocker and myself which was to send to a mutual friend we have. Kids in the hats. My daughter was like ‘do not put that on the internet!’ 
Spoke to Scott Palmer a bit and did get a photo of him with the gold skeleton but as he doesn’t have Insta I won’t put it on her. Avi is always lovely. Gave Ben Grove a few pre-try fist bumps before a few of his b/s flip over the hydrant. Hillrise (last year Dadlands DOTY!) who said he lurks here who I’ve seen at a couple of events at RS.
There’s a really nice guy I think from Notts who we speak to who we never catch his name.
Anyhow already looking forward to next year…
