Just got home. Knackered but stoked.

Massive props to Dadlands, Groans, all the sponsors, Horse for shouting nonsense, DJ Anal for a steady mix of sad songs and hip hop, everyone for turning up and shredding and special big ups for Toby and Snakes for hosting it.

You’re all brilliant idiots. Can’t wait for next year

Y’know what, as someone who has skated for the majority of their life i was never involved in the scene at all. Beyond buying sidewalk surfer and buying gear from native I never went to any events, rarely went to skate parks, rarely watched skate vids, didn’t know who anyone was. We had a local car park scene and DIY and that was us sorted.

To finally join this community in middle age is so brilliant. Last year I was chatting to Nick Zorlac for ages and learned so much about the skate history of where I’m from in West London that I never knew. This year I learned a fuck load about radlands history from Deeyo.

This event is really special and I’m super thankful for it. Meeting you weirdos and having a great time. Love you all

How’s your sunburn today mate?

I look like a tomato and I’m working in a kitchen all day, any time I get within 1m of the oven my face stings

Was great meeting everyone

Looks like I missed a couple people on here I really should’ve met

We’re all past the vibing age now and we’re all sad old farts who play with these silly toys at the weekend now, so don’t be shy and say what’s up next time, we don’t bite…!

All the chat in this thread is making me realise I’m only 15 years off 60 but with any luck I’ll be a 60 year old who can at least still carve about on transition and do a few flat ground tricks. It’s a nice thought

Completely valid, especially as all I had was a rubbish service station egg and ham sarnie that I’d left in the sun all day.
Gotta say, the Mr Whippy icecream went down a treat, blue sherbert on top, what a winner!

Lizzy had an Oreo Ice Cream, it was huge

Yes this is my offspring and I apologies if she got in your way. It was one of the best days ever she said.

Not too far away by car so we’ll pop by again soon as I should get some new wheels.

Oh sorry, my bad. I might bring my eldest next year. He’d disappear to one of the half pipes and be in heaven

I really liked the Vault mini/midi but that’s now in the realm of helmet and pads for me. Lizzy wanted to check out the crypt mini but it was going off a bit in there so that’s for another time.
