Just treated myself to a set of AF1 77s, coming from a Indy 169 with a alltimers 9.25 shaped setup. Wondering what deck they will work on best? I have a Blast Gnarzone 10” on route and this Frog 9.8” shaped. Have a feeling with the taper over the back truck on the frog that the 169 might work better? Going to give new trucks a whirl with some 55mm mini super juice.

I tried to get some from various hardware stores (and a combine harvester repair specialist!) here and was told they were an American thing, and were hard to find here for some reason. You’d probably better go to your local SOS.

Skate shops definitely have them, Indy used to do a pack of four and Thunder do a rebuild kit. Other options too out there too 👍

Nah you’re talking metric am pretty sure what you’re looking for is imperial so they will look right but won’t fit properly
Got some allen key truck bolts in Singapore once and couldn’t find an allen key for years that would fit properly

Yeah that’s exactly why I tried to score some through a hardware store but couldn’t find anything that fitted skate trucks. Hopefully you’ll be luckier in Hove!

Fancied trying a twin tail. Also first slick since 95ish… Obviously needed new trucks for full symmetricalness, and fresh deck and trucks also obviously require fresh wheels 😁
Managed two pushes and an ollie this evening on a basketball court before someone came out of their house to complain, feels very nice though. Will go and find a curb to slip out of some noseslides on tomorrow

Presumably these will turn faster than most trucks, which will seem really impressive from a distance, but be unpleasant to actually ride yourself.
Yeah that’s stretching the “Slayer play fast but they’re shit” metaphor but there we go.
