A guy I know just left his job to do crypto full time. Feeling like I should try to get some dough into it but also aware things like this need suckers / newbs to rinse. Also it’s hardly ethical but then again neither is hsbc

Of all the traders on YouTube I only know of 2 that are completely legit and transparent with their earnings, not just from MLM and affiliate deals. There are plenty of people making money from it but I doubt they are giving away their secrets. There are thousands of people making money from offering training so beware.
It’s easy to think you are best trader in the world with crypto as generally it tends to go up, but making money in both directions with proper risk management and bring consistent is what separates good years from shit ones
I’m staying away from crypto for now but I do have a small amount of BTC I’m holding

If I had any money I’d be banging it all into plasma gasification recycling, from what I can tell from the 1 podcast I listened to and 2 internet articles I skim read it’s an actual viable solution for plastic waste an getting rid of landfill. Mark my words.

From what I’ve read on waste-management-world dot com (a website which I frequent religiously), it sounds like we can solve all the worlds problems by just chucking all our shit in existing coal plants. We’ll all be living in slag-houses.

Remember when graphene and carbon nanotubes were gonna change the world? Still waiting for that. I read about so many exciting applications for it, but that was at least a few years ago and we still haven’t built a space elevator.

Everything takes time…while there’s still profit in doing things the old way people are gonna do things the old way. I hope that the weight of regulation and taxation on environmentally damaging technologies and industries will drive lots of new stuff like this into the mainstream.

I’ve got some money in their LifeStrategy 60% Equity fund which had achieved something like 5-13% in the previous five years and of course as soon as I join we get Covid and Ukraine and it promptly tanked to -13% at times in the last year. It’s at -4% at moment. But the platform is decent and fees seem low and I’m sure it will recover.

Ah yeah nice, only started it in May but I do £50 a month into the Life 80% fund
Return on that s&p 500 has actually gone up since I last checked two days, was 9% it’s sat around 11 now 😂

Im in Australia now so I’m looking at their VDHG fund (seems to be the equivalent of an LS fund that everyone goes for here) but hesitant to actually do it for the same reason.
China will fucking definitely invade Taiwan either tomorrow or as soon as the Covid/Ukraine situation levels out. It already shat itself so I probably can’t lose that much.
Also, they’re all diversified anyway so the gamble is way less about what to trade, it’s more whether cash is better given the global outlook.
