Gone Skateboarding?

Couple of hours tonight. Had to really force myself to leave the house - but that’s due to the work situation. Got there and had a great time. As always.

Skating was the superior decision.

Went out for a play earlier with a plan to manny the flat of a local mini but for some reason my brain thought the 2 inch pop up was a massive 15 steps down which put a dampener on things.

Almost gave up on wanting to do ‘tricks’ ever and go full time polarizer but the cruise back to my car encouraged me to head off to my favourite kerb for another hour of low impact no comply stalls which restored my faith.

Left the park feeling 17 got out of my car at home feeling 70.

Bring on the ointments.

My wife’s away for 5 days so I’m planning on skating every day. Session at Selfridges today with a big group of rad kids from Skaterham.

Today I gave a skate lesson to two women who had never skated before, went for a solo skate after that then paid a visit to my mate at his skateshop. Now watching Street League and I’m going skating with a mate tomorrow. Yes.

Honestly, seeing clips from you is so good. The old man isn’t so bitter!

Aw cheers @Mark Went out, filmed a few bits. Did a flat bank trick that I’ve not done in about a decade too. Needs cleaning up but I know I can do it now so fingers crossed it’ll make it in.

First roll in a month or more last night.

Tried to motivate my useless fellow curb enjoyers for a session, but ended up skating solo. Total waste of time, no energy, no pop. Felt ok to roll about a bit and do a few silly curb stall things (@doowyrag inspired), but in the end went spot hunting and bought some glue.

The last few times I’ve tried new things have ended up with me hitting the ground - sack of spuds rather than nimble judo roll out.

BITD, we used to skate some kerbs down a street populated mostly by pensioners and one would often pop out and shout at us - very understandably, now - I often remember his “STOP DOING THOSE CLICKY THINGS!”.

Incorrect haha. I think you are confusing me with someone that can do shit.

I’m broken.
