Always liked the fact that Death crew had a heavy OG Sidewalk forum presence too - less so now but still a few and deffo lurkers (Hello Cates/Nick/Twiggy 😉 ---

Well that was great wasn’t it? Very honoured to be asked to contribute. Absolutely stoked to see zero reference to that Australian clown as well. ---

Always a pleasure to hear you talk about skateboarding. The death videos and the likes of the big push etc were a major part of my teenage years, big up to Zorlac for everything he’s done for UK skateboarding and big up everyone involved in this video. ---

25 years is a hell of an achievement. I genuinely think Nick is the nicest guy in skateboarding. The first event we ever planned this way was by getting the email for Nick from a Death ad in Sidewalk and just emailing asking if they would do an all nighter demo/jam at the old Stourbridge indoor. This would of been about 2004 and they turned up full squad in peak “punk Death” era and the madness ensued… Pretty sure it was in the Motel 6 video, as was them getting kicked out from their own demo after stripping Dibble naked and stacking sofa’s on him. All this though from two 16 year olds asking for them to come skate at our park. He always helped us out with every event we did after that sending boards, tee shirts, DVD’s whatever he could. 14 years of events and he always sent stuff! Absolute legend of a bloke who cares so much about skateboarding! ---

Watched last night, excellent stuff, Nick and co should be proud of their continued existence while many have risen and failed Also pretty stoked the team shirt I doodled about 20 years ago while bored at work and sent in is still going strong (cmoac) Ps strong t shirt choice anon ---

When I opened the shop last year, he very kindly sent me a load of stock and said just pay me when you can. It’ll help with the lead up to Christmas. And he still uses just an email list for power distribution as well, people in the shop chat will always ask if anyone has an up to date list ---

This was incredible. So much love for Nick. Death were a huge influence on me growing up. Like you say, any skate jam/event we ever did, Nick was always the first to donate some product. Lovely bloke. Up the Death! [Next page](https://ukskateforum.co.uk/t/hand-me-downs-death-skateboards-documentary-by-rohum-dilley/5927.md?page=2)
