That sounds wank. I’m on your colleagues side though, fuck going back in full time, it’s been proven we don’t need to. The only people gagging to get back are absolute dinosaurs. I basically just told my boss I’d be in if we have meetings etc, or if I want to go for a pint. But in your situation, no petrol means you get to stay at home. That’s a win! ---

I panic bought over the weekend but in my defence I did have some long journeys to make. I only had a quarter of a tank when I filled it up and now I’ve only got half a tank again. ---

I haven’t looked but I bet there’s some good game theory about this from last time round. Logically, it’s in everyone’s best interest not to panic buy, but if everyone else is going to panic buy, and you need some of a finite resource, you need to panic buy too. Even though that makes it worse. But you can’t tell a crowd that, because crowds are stupid.
