Nadhim Zahawi calling 40(!) Percent of his own party having no confidence was a ‘handsome’ result. Pahahahahahhahaha.
Shit result for the country but the dream result for Labour if they can squeeze a GE with him still in. Not sure that’s possible.
Hes totally fucked though. He won’t resign but you can’t operate if that many people won’t back you on votes in parliament. It’s going to be a nice long protracted political death.
Best thing is we know he won’t resign so we have months of Tory civil war to enjoy.

So the US Congress is having more hearings on the Jan 6th insurrection and they’ve hired a TV executive to make the televised event more dramatic

Because politics is show business for ugly people? Maybe trying to ride on the back of the massive, recent Celeb “My dog stood on a bee” court audience figures?
Fox didn’t have adverts for an hour to stop people channel hoping during them and ‘maybe’ stumbling across the coverage of the insurrection investigation. An American TV channel not having ads for an hour is pretty much unheard of!
