That headline & article is worded badly.
It’s more that the surviving wolves in that area have a genetic trait to be more resistant to cancer caused by whatever radiation found around Chernobyl. Wolves without that trait are dead/dying → survival of the fittest. Not quite like a sudden genetic mutation leading to glow-in-the-dark, radiation-proof wolves.

Well it came up at PMQs last week and he was very dismissive, just said ‘the vaccines are safe’. Bearing in mind you can’t even legally say that about asprin without a disclaimer I can see how that would rile people, and if anything opens the door to conspiracy theories.
