Have you spent any time in the UK? Our entire society revolves around alcoholism and football. The later being overwhelmingly consumed and dominated by the working class.
The upper middle class, in my experience, do not give a fuck about football.

Iād say itās a very different world now to the one in which they indy logo was conceived and worn. As a kid it was absolutely understood that We, the goodies won the war against the baddies, the nazis. Wearing a little hint of nazi just made you look a bit hardcore and anti whatever. (And the indy logo was based on the iron cross, the sketches are in print somewhere.) Plus a level of self and group identification in something kind of taboo looking or underground
Nowadays weāve got some south African billionaire giving nazi salutes at Trumps inauguration and right wingers taking over across Europe. Iād say considering all that Iām glad indy decided to avoid any confusion about their status as actual nazis. The new logos look good.
Personally I think there are far darker things to be concerned with at the moment, a skateboard logo is fairly low down the list

Youāre annoyed you canāt wear a logo that looks a little bit like a nazi symbol anymore? And the middle classes are to blame somehow?
