It is. But, how many skate shops have closed over the past 10 years - surely, if you can stay open (albeit by selling scooters and questionable Blueprint boards) thats a good thing

Amazing.
So sick to see how far everyone’s hard work has got them.
Hope I might get up to London over the summer and will definitely be stopping by if I do.

that’s fucking crazy, like that has to be one of the most commercially valuable pieces of land in the country, and they’ve managed to bat off everybody to make it into an essentially empty space for people to fuck around in on skateboards. makes me have a glimmer of hope about the future of public space. well done all

I’ve not bought anything from big woody but have to ramp City on various occasions and chatted with him. He started selling scooters to keep the shop going basically. He’s a old school skater. He has 2 shops one at ramp City and one in town
