When I first saw footage of Tom in strange world I didn’t like him. Maybe it was his long hair, or he did something wierd with his hands.
But over the last few years he’s defo been one of the best. I like that he keeps it low key with his sponsors aswell.

I like Asta more for being lowkey and not chasing success and the paycheck. He’s defininitely a modern favourite of mine and def has style. Tiago is similar for me, so amazing.
Weirdly when I have been bored and there have been comps on YT I have been routing for and enjoying felipe Gustavo. His style has matured so well. I used to hate everything about it and thought he had no style but out of everyone else on the course, he oozes tech style. I know, weird and controversial.

Not really, I guess he’s grown up and just does them naturally now. They are still a little kicky but they look like most peoples nowadays. I think.
To be fair I didn’t like him for a long time - the beanie, the Long hair etc.
But the last 2/3 years he’s really grown into a great skateboarder - just everything he does is absolutely on point. And I sort of like how he’s a bit of an industry outsider in terms of sponsors. Plus he’s not corny.
Tom Asta can probably do more different tricks in 3 minutes than Sean Pablo has landed in his entire life.
Dude’s ill. His flatground skating and ledge game are so on point. He seems to be a total skate rat and have zero ego too. Long live Tom Asta.
