Instagram Blowouts

Is it one for the unpopular opinions thread to say Stevie doesnt exactly look comfortable on a board recently…?

This guy’s old school board collection. Jaw dropping. Especially if you’re into Vision.

His Chevy Chevelle SS isn’t looking too bad either.

You have to wonder if the people who collect and display his board know what he did.

I’m not saying the rest of the skateboard industry are angels. But not many have killed someone and stuffed them in a surfboard bag.

Probably but I doubt they care. Nostalgia if they rode his board BITD probably overides moral outrage. Theres no way this guy doesnt know. He must have spent hundreds of thousands on that collection and just wants it complete, murderer or not theres no way he isnt aware of it.

How much do you reckon is tied up in that garage? $1m?

Collecting boards is cool but watching that video I feel like that guy is a kook haha

Disposable income or what

Some absolute stinkers in there. Gator is a classic but yeah, can’t really look at it without his history coming up.

Yeah, quality control is terrible there and what does a person think when they’re looking at a Gator board? I know some people are fine with it, Vision re-issued it and Sean Goff sold it in his eBay shop, but it was my first proper board and I wouldn’t want it again.

This guy seems a bit like the Shoezeum guy, some nerd who got rich and went all out buying up a lifetime’s worth of a collection really fast.

That makes it sound like having Sean Goff stock your product on his eBay account is a badge of honour.

:joy: :joy: :joy:

Seems like his collection revolves around being like a ‘completist’ (is that even a thing?). You know what I mean though. Like owning every single board in every single colourway a company released just because…ermm…disposable income.

Yeah, same as the Shoezeum guy with his SBs and Js.

Skateboard collectors with collections like that and right wing trump supporters presented as a venn diagram is probably just a single circle.

Is a shame, am sure each of those boards would go to a home where they get appreciated more as singles

At least they are being displayed and not gathering dust in your parent’s loft

I didn’t see a single gonz & roses board among that collection, which is strange considering the number of visions. He must have one surely?

the plain wood walls look shit mind and be interesting to find out what this collection is making up for.

Maybe he’s one of those Malba guys that could only early grab and get 1 wheel over coping

all the money in the world i would prob go for a lot of the early 90s world boards obvs.
but i wouldn’t get the WHOLE lot.
i saw a fucking joe gruber board with scooby doo smoking a joint in there.
i doubt even joe gruber wants that on his wall.

There is a big difference between having art and board collections in your house and having a ‘collectors’ room right? Feel like it’s more about assets than appreciating things as individual works when it’s splayed out like that

I would kill for a cheesy Flip New Wave wall hanger hahah

Was googling old flip boards that are awful but also nostalgic enough for me to love them and found this well Asda George looking Bobby b advert
