Instagram Blowouts

What if Carroll, Javier or Gustav did one?

They haven’t so that answers your question.

Maybe they did but didn’t film it? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That still answers your question :joy:

That was sick. Probably the first one I’d ever seen done on flat.

This guy is so good

Hasn’t he basically been doing that same line for 12 years now?

He can do it for 12 more years as far as I’m concerned. The blunt fakie at the end was like it was nothing. You’d have to put a gun to my head and give me a full bear attack suit to drop in on that thing

Amazing skateboarding yaya
But sleeves pushed up on a hoody/jumper is my #1 irrational hate.

Is that on Thrasher Truth Hurts? Best part of that whole video.

Haha, I do that all the time (on jumpers, I don’t wear hoodies). It’s pretty comfortable. I didn’t know it could offend people.

You have thousands of other people doing the ā€˜same line’ in new parks of smith grind, ollie blunt, 5-0, etc… ad infinitum.

Doing the ā€˜same line’ of 360 ollie to fakie, blunt tre flip, etc…etc… in new situations is something else.

Dannie Carlsen is amazing.

I remember seeing him at Bay about ten years ago, he was amazing yet relatively unknown, I was sure he’d be the next big thing but yeah, as you said, he hasn’t really changed or improved much since. Same tricks, same style, same anonymity.
I suppose he has to start skating in pajamas and do progressive powerslides if he wants to be cool and famous.

It’s great that he has 5 tricks on lock but I just like my sponsored skaters to have more than one run.

I assume the point you’re trying to make is that with as much skill as he has you somehow expect more and that he seems to have hit a ceiling for progression.

I agree it all looks too easy for him, but I think that comes from being a Wonderland local.

As for doing the same tricks. He definitely has way more tricks in his bag than your average sponsored skater.

I would be interested to see him take it off transition and into more natural spots.

I’d be interested to se him do anything but the continued repetition.
