Just rewatched the Stockwell section at the end of Good Shit after seeing this. Veeeery causal kickflip. Such a shame he’s in the state he is now.

Is that the session with the ‘I’m pissed’ guy?

Was good till he took it out for lunch

Nice trick, shame it was filmed from that angle

Welcome to the 2020s.

I am genuinely surprised that Thasher went for the collab, particularly given how Thrasher are viewed and how they have positioned themselves within skateboarding over the last 40 years.

A collab like this would work for Palace. It would probably even work for Vans. But it’s a weird one for Thrasher, it’s a difficult one to pull off

Suddenly I love it. :joy:

The first picture, where I thought it was a striped polo with what I would’ve assumed to have been a small, embroidered version of the Thrasher/Lacoste logo, I was seriously into it.

Then I realised what it was and I wished I could delete my eyes’ browsing history.

Looks like something you’d buy from Aliexpress

Absolutely! Looks so cheap.

Really interesting. Although, it boils down to Mikey Taylor being adjacent to people with bigoted beliefs, rather than Mikey actually saying anything himself. At best, Mikey is too stupid to have looked into his mentor’s anti-abortion and anti-LGBT stance and never saw a problem. At worst, Mikey believes all of that and is keeping purposefully quiet about his own beliefs. Having seen a lot of Mikey Taylor content over the years, I am willing to be generous and say Mikey is extremely ambitious but also extremely stupid.

But his landlord/entrepreneur social media output is foul.

You can be part of a church congregation but not necessarily believe or agree with certain views. That’s fine. However, if you’re an actual adult, you should be willing to vocally state that.

Especially if you’re running for a position of power. If he’s too stupid to understand his mentors views, then he’s too stupid to run for office.
