Loving koston still pushing swongo
Best trick done there by far
a switch flip switch manny sharp enough to sever
Is this why I’m shit at mannys, I always have my foot on the tail. He’s got it just off the truck bolts and is perfectly balanced
It looks like it’s been rewound. Sick.
I could be wrong but I do mannys with foot on the tail but try to do switch mannys with my foot further forward. Not sure why they’re different but they are and I see others do this too.
I had a manual epiphany after watching that skate iq guy on instagram.
Focus on your core (as well as the usual feet shoulders bullshit )
Game changer
He is so tech with his advice it’s mad.
core? what post was that I want to hear it
The skateiq guy has really made me realise that the tricks tips I had as a teenager - ‘ride parallel to the ledge, ollie, turn, slide, roll away clean’ - really did not help me learn the proper way of doing things at all
you mean trick tips like “pop, scoop, jump, catch, land, roller away” weren’t useful???
Skate IQ guy is Mitchie Brusco, vertical X-Gamer and former mega-ramp foetus. Wonder if his heavily coached skate upbringing makes his trick tips a bit better?
Was he not a Rodney Mullen protégé ? He has a remarkable style for someone whose roots are in stunt man ramps.
Trick tips suck 99% of the time but Tom Asta and Chad Caruso give good advice.
We’re all mad scientists for the physics of gravitational forces but no-one’s written a manual.
The manual manual
this guy breaks down tricks in such a gentle but practical way
Cover worthy???
I love that guy. Not sure I’ve actually learned anything but he’s like watching Bob Ross paint
my trick days are done, but how he explains stuff - breaking down movements into smaller pieces, useful body positions & foot placements etc, seems bang on.
yeah, “if only i could have seen this as a nipper” floats through the ol’ electric porridge quite frequently, haha
