I was joking as a lot of us dissed the CPH Open the day before he posted that or something. Of course Copenhagen is great, it has always been and (I suppose) it will always be. It’ll take more than Nike to ruin a city.
It’s funny that you say that because I’m always (well, often) hyped on people having a skatepark clip in their part, for this exact reason, because it is illegal in a way.
I have no problem with that. A clip of a 50-year-old Frank Gerwer in a skatepark is probably gonna inspire me more than 95% of the shit I see in contemporary legit street parts. And I always thought people working on tech tricks in a skatepark for weeks then spending weeks filming it again on a “real” ledge was corny.
Perfect example of a spot being much harder to skate in real life.

BA’s line at the dream spot with the mellow bank to ledge is just great. Not wallie-180-up-the-block-switch-tre-and-fakie-hurricane-on-the-low-to-high-at-Lloyds good but it definitely made my day.
