ahaha, when ai is good enough I’ll be making that video

That’s the thing, enough people were already calling it out on the interwebs and know how much of a kook Koston turned into. He should have just sat back and let everyone else do the talking for him and enjoyed it from the sidelines.

He can take the piss out of Koston for wearing corny skate shoes (made by his sponsor) after skating but DC was always cornier than éS in my book and every single pro model he’s had with them was a Nike rip-off, which is kinda sad for him I suppose as he was still big when Nike had already entered the skate game (for the second or third time) and apparently never offered him a deal. He shot himself in the foot right there.

which is the very last thing we want when talking about footwear.

Hahaha, yes!

In the Chocolate Tour, Stevie does a nollie nose manual on a picnic table, and in Yeah Right, Koston’s opening trick is a nollie nose manual on a picnic table. Does he mean something like that?

Clutching at straws with tricks that are free game.
If you’re gonna call out someone for being a ‘kook’ don’t have a flimsy argument otherwise you sound like… a kook.

Paulo Diaz did those long before those two wore éS or Nikes.

And he was much cooler than them.

I remember when people were talking about who ripped off the Jordan 12 Low best back in 2000, the éS Koston 3 or Stevie’s first DC shoe (both dropping at the same time) and here we are 25 years later still talking about Koston, Stevie and Nike. One managed to get pro Nike shoes in that time, one didn’t.

This feels a bit “I liked them before they were cool…” in a way.

They had 2 identical tricks in Yeah Right and the DC video, hence why Stevie’s were resigned to the credits. Probably what he was referring to - must have been a while after he left Chocolate though

Good call!

I remember not really getting this part when it came out but rewatching it’s light years ahead.

Never noticed that before. Of all the manual tricks to do down that thing it’s funny that they both came up with the same thing

All this time I had no idea the K3s were a rip off of the Jordans.

Always thought the K3 was the ugliest shoe

Stealing tricks from people”… It’s not like he built this spot with his hands and I doubt he ever had any intellectual property rights on switch heel nosewheelies. What a sad clown.

It is pretty sad but also hilarious. A simple put down like this would suffice:

Palace and adidas all used the same phrase in an advert back in 2014:

I suppose they added ‘go the shop’, but still.

“we’ve been working out bloody bottoms off” - forgot how funny this as was!

Best advert ever still watch it regularly

“Stay in your lane retard”

Fucking brilliant from Stevie
