That would be the original 70s style kickflip, not the “Magic Flip” as it was known when Rodney invented the “ollie kickflip” (probably around 83 or 84?) which is what we know as a kickflip nowadays.

That makes more sense with the time frame. Maybe just a bit confusing for the average person to then immediately show footage of a ‘modern’ style kickflip
Noticed last night my mate has a Webz game of skate winner trophy thingy in his office. Don’t really know of Webz nor watched his stuff tbh. IIRC he gave out a load of free stuff at Rollersnakes a couple of years back, only reason why I became aware of the dude.
