lol at people saying it’s a shit cover.
That is gnarly as hell.

I think that Nyjah photo is a gnarly trick, just shot in a very boring way.
Nothing wrong with the trick, it’s insane but everything else, but what are we expecting from Nyjah dress wise? He should be banned from mags, just stick to street league and get paid.
“Why do you Care about another Mans Jeans?”
Not a fan of 360 flips out of grinds but Stevie gets a pass because he’s true.
chose the best for the best reason and didn’t choose Weck over beef, even though that would be funny.
I was having one of those days
The first person I saw do this trick since the early 90s was Daniel Espinoza and that certainly didn’t help me liking it.
Dope.
Ridiculous.
Was there a whatever happened to Aaron?
He got called out in a big brother letters section for faking a sequence (fakie varial flip 5-0 iirc, he was flipping in and not making it - and then they just shot a bunch of fakie 5-0s and stitched them together) - then he showed up on the berrics once or twice.
Made it for the video, not that day for the sequence.
Think he’s a street league judge.
Ha this is great, never heard of anything like this happening. Are there any more of those?
It happens all the time. I got told by somebody who’d know that as long as the person had made it once, it was fair game to fake the sequence.
And also fair game to fake the sequence if it wasn’t made but the person definitely promises to go back and make it soon…
I understand choosing the best photo if you’ve already made the trick. But anything else is cheating IMO.
Like I can get into a bs nosebluntslide on ledges pretty easily but I’ve never landed one. By that logic I could get a photo where I’ve just got into it and bailed, promised to learn it and the photo is still good. Everyone thinks I can bs nosebluntslide now so I don’t need to go back. FAKE NEWS.
Would make a good thread if there were examples of people getting called out on it.
People are wise to it now though, with Instagram.
I’ve seen individual frames cherry picked from an un-landed attempt added to a sequence of an actual make to make it flow better but never known of one to be completely fabricated.
Ive personally had a photo run that was never a make, had a photographer up for a day and wanted to shoot multiple photos with limited time (and skate skill) so tried the trick for a while and told the photographer I would come back and do it and let them know.
Never got round to doing it and eventually saw it in a mag!
My personal pet peeve shooting photos is when the photographer asks you to pose something so its better than the actual make, blast an air higher than you have landed it is a good example.
Not sure i’ve seen this happen but no doubt it has.
