Frontside 360 double flip is mad. Hardly anyone can even do the regular one half decent besides Greg Lutzka
Yeah I liked that…and the quadruple frontside flip
Monster flip? An impossible without the wrap, or vertical 360 pop shove-it. looks mental, I like it. He makes some of the most ugly things that never need to be made look pretty good.
It is very surprising how well some of those tricks look considering they are so many aspects crammed into them.
It’s all about the pop and catch really, rather than the normal ultratech floor draggers you see around.
‘Fakie varial half flip cancel flip’
I’d say I’m a fairly intermediate skate nerd. I have no idea what this means, even after watching it.
He made the lotti flips look way better than they should. My favourite ‘that’s daft’ moment of this one was the late double hardflip.
First one if these I’ve actually watched (dipped in anyway). Can’t be arsed to really nerd out too much but a lot of ones he’s claiming are late are in very, very dodgy territory.
It goes by so fast no one’s ever going to check all these are legit so …
…
A lot of these are pretty good though. The switch frontside 360 flip was actually really nice.
I’m with you.
The cynic in me thinks that every 150 tricks he does a fast one by repeating something and renaming it.
My skate IQ only really follows the logic of normal, fs, bs, fakie, nollie, switch and late. It hurts my head to think how much Jamie’s head hurts to think up of some of these combos.
If you put some structure into how you form the tricks and variants it’s probably pretty easy to milk 5 or 6 extra just by whacking on a late revert or doing it 180 or a flip somewhere.
Spreadsheet definitely necessary
I’m just hoping he’s gonna end on a Griffin flip.
It could be cool if his ender was a flatground ollie.
When I’m watching it, I just keep thinking that he should have a quarter pipe at the other end of the drive so can pump and get back to his starting position
nuts. the fs and bs triple flips and the kickflip late heel all highlights for me.
new trick request is bs 360 triple flip. he did big flip so should theoretically be able to get there.
also love the lack of fanfare. video just ends haha
this is the best bit. He’s just doing his niche weird thing on YouTube without the plastic smile vlog shit.
Proper honest nerdery, not clingy desperate for attention nerdery
in RZA voice ‘We geeks, yo!’
360 flip late flip and bs nollie late flip were tasty. Hadn’t seen that first one since 1991-92.
Don’t think I need to see anymore crossfoots though.
What makes an anti bigspin? Is it turning the body a full 360 rather than 180?
Absolutely amazing. Nollie Heel Late Shuv was mint
I stopped trying to read what was happening and just let the madness into my brain.
The laser flip reverts (called frontside bigger spin heel in his clip) were pretty rad!
It’s basically what a lot of people would call a Lotti spin. The board spins 180 and your body spins 360 the same way.
You know my shit is fucked up when I’m watching Jamie griffin flat ground and the next suggested video is ‘every major location in the judge dress universe explained’. Nerd hours too deep.
This instalment was pretty much all batshit. This guy is operating on another level.
The nollie lotti looked really good and could be incorporated into a good street line by the right person, I.e, Joe Gavin, over a little hip or bump mid line
I always thought Lotti spins were underrated and underutilized. They are kinda weird but can look dope if done well. Backtail Lotti spin is pretty rad. I think I’ve seen it but can’t remember any specific examples.
I tried Lotti spins but they make no sense to me, I felt like a slug in a washing machine.
