Reading on SHS (Skateboard History Society) Jason Isaccs was runner up for the first ever Skater of the Year award.
They said his acting career took off around this time so that could account for his declining presence at South Bank, thus just missing out on the award to Tony Hawk.

I watched Black Hawk Down the other day and saw him in there in some tiny bit part, was weird.
That film has an absolutely mad cast of big shots before they got mega famous, and supporting actors who everyone has seen in every movie but can’t name. And about a million extras who each get more screen time than Orlando Bloom .
