Well worth listening to the latest Joel Curtis pod (I mean they are all worth listening to but any with Anon. on are especially worthwhile) and the chat about this
Cheers man - tbh the whole thing could quite easily have been about Lenz
I could happily listen to that all afternoon!
Bought a physical copy from palomino after they had a re-up. Just need a blu ray player to watch it on now.
I see This Thing of Ours have just started stocking a small amount of Tightbooth clothing
Noticed that earlier in the week. Donât seem to be shifting much and at those prices Iâm not surprised. I guess theyâre getting it direct?
I went to their store in Osaka a few weeks back. Bought a fair wack of stuff like a proper victim hah!
Well and truly jell
Up in full.
Actually keen and actually wonât buy to sell on.
So based on the parts already released and my awareness of Lenz generally I was already convinced that this is one of the most culturally significant skate videos of the last decade at least.
Just watched the whole thing. FUCK ME.
That is how you make an hour plus video compelling.
Filming, editing, music, spots, tempo, secky presh, tricks, outfits: everything is incredible.
Bravo
More effort went into the opening credits than goes into 70% of full lengths these days.
And this is the third in the last decade (maybe not, canât remember the year of the first!). Lenz and Lenz II are fucking dope too. Lenz II intro is amazing.
I interviewed Shinpei about the second one for Sidewalk in about 2014 I think so probably second of the decade but stillâŚ
Nice! I got II from Palomino when it came out and was totally blown away, top notch, and managed to snaffle a copy of the first when Palomino brought copies over. A really well presented series of videos.
Just love this video, so much energy, style and rawness. Watched it last night and didnât hesitate to get a power hour today going full at the ledges at my local .
What a rad scene they have aside from the contest park rats Japan is sprouting.
