London-centrism

Paging Les

I think Blueprint had a knack of making itself inclusive to the whole of the UK as a company, it never felt purely London based. You had the Scottish lads, a mix of northerners and others outside of London. I think trying to get that vibe for a company again would be hard these days.

Edit: And the good/early Unabomber was out of Nottingham.

If London is the UK skateboarding capital and LA the mecca, how many UK skaters that made it in the USA over the years, actually had really strong ties with London? In the past.

For example:
Shipman - Worksop
Penny - Oxford
Mouly - Oxford
Rowley - Liverpool
Sumner - Liverpool
Rattray - Aberdeen
Nordberg - Bath
