I tend to play the more modern stuff much slower so to work with transitioning out of / into other stuff but I’m probably overthinking it ha, like to separate the old and new

Cool little interview with Ian MacKaye. I was talking to someone the other day and we were wondering if Ian has chilled on some of his beliefs as he’s got older, and the answer is, no, absolutely not haha.

I’m mentally planning a 2027 holiday for me and the wife’s anniversary, New York for a bit then Philadelphia to visit her pal for a few. My brain says that flying out of Washington and a couple of days in DC are on the cards. Secretly I’ve scoped out the Discord house to get a photo or two, turns out it’s very central to DC so too handy to pass up

Anyone come across Subvert.fm ? Setting itself up as a bandcamp alternative with I think the assumption that bandcamp will change or be corrupted in future.
Subvert makes a big deal of it’s being a co-op. Maybe that’s good, but I feel like they’re doomed to remain a noble experiment that doesn’t get the numbers needed be viable.
Wish spotify weren’t such utter fabricants as it’s obviously the most practical system for most listeners
