I’ve stayed there a few times and remember Camelford park was rebuilt a few years back.
Haven’t skated it so can’t vouch.
There is a ‘Cornwall Skateparks’ Insta account that might be useful.

Behind King’s Cross.
Would be really interested to get the hivemind’s take on this Maverick design. There feels like quite a few spacing and variety issues to me amongst other things, but I’m struggling to articulate them- particularly in a way that makes sense to non-skaters.
Probably just a preference thing if I’m honest, but “just build a big flat bit like Finsbury park” isn’t really constructive criticism.
I think it would be better if you lost that bowl. Looks like it wouldbe odd to skate
Is that for Lydney by any chance?
No, Totnes in Devon.
Yeah my bad. The designs look real similar.
It’s got a lot of my pet peeves.
That’s at first glance.
Bowls in middle of skatepark in my experience doesn’t work. As in, boards/cars/bullied kids end up in there
Feels like there’s not enough space between the edge of the obstacles and the edge of the grass. It either needs another foot or so of concrete, or they put some tarmac around the whole edge, otherwise you’re straight stepping into grass/mud. Maybe also don’t need 11 and 9, they’re very close together and sort of do the same thing?
I’d get rid of 17 and 15 too, and maybe chuck a couple of normal seating benches around the edges
that park would blatantly cost like 150k too. it looks awful. just build a car park with some ledges - that way you can park you car in it and you won’t get any scooter kids. transition is rubbish anyway
Looking at it again, they could just put the bowl in that space bottom right where 22 is (make it a bit smaller), then just space out the street obstacles in the main top area a la Finsbury.
This ledge alone is worth more than that entire park
That would keep you going for life.
People see this big huge obstacles on these CAD drawings and get excited, but they won’t get touched in real life.
Mellow hips. Mellow ledges. Mellow flatbars. Mellow quarters. Mellow mini. Maybe a mellow big 3/euro. That’s all you need.
Just seeing that ledge is getting me going
Hello fellow young person. I am also definitely not a robot.
No worries. We have seen all sorts on here. Im old, so my opinion on your design is not relevant.
Can confirm that’s the best thing in north London to skate that’s not street .
