Reminds me of those Pony American football trainers that were around in the mid 80s. I hade some grey ones.
They could be good for playing football against Luton town or I imagine they have updated to grass by now ha.

Nike Sb made a golf dunk years ago but it was for skating not golfing.

There was a golf version of a Koston too. It was really nice, it was leather, wing tip, but obviously had spikes on it.

Recently become a vegan in November and been conscious of how that now, my skate shoe choices might be limited..
I’m not _that_ strict on wearing something leather/suede, in terms of ‘used’ stuff anyways. I like bigger skate shoes and used to collect dead stock or close-to dead stock stuff; Accels, as set of K3s, K5s, Ipath Grasshoppers and Lynxs (HEs, the 2nd ones and the reissues mainly).
I’m going to skate through these, because I don’t care about keeping them pristine or anything. After all, they’re made for skating..
But yeah, I still got a set of Lakai Cambridges to go through. Definitely my favourite shoe at the moment, other than the DC reissues that is.
I’m glad to see they do synthetic versions of these! I’m clocking a pair of Accel Plus Everstitch next though, they look pretty tidy. The one reissue I was hoping for, was the Accel Plus.

Got a few vegan friends who have been skating these. I’ve been skating Accel Slim since they stopped making the Accelerate when eS came back from hiatus.

How’d you find the Accel Slim? I heard mixed reviews on how they feel.
The OG Accel remakes are a bit eh, they skate ok but I don’t think they feel good compared to the ones I had as a kid. Someone on Slap pointed out the toe box being slightly stubbier than the OGs, but I know they changed the shape a few times.
I do miss the Accel 3Gs I had. I know when I spoke to Tommy he had the TTs when he was on flow? Very similar to one another, being a somewhat slimmed down version of the Accel but still a cupsole. Even had lace protectors on them IIRC.

Slims are the best shoes ever if you’re not worried about the lifespan.
I have a pair of everstich for drumming in, they are certainly not for skating in, they’d look awful after 2 kickflips.

Accel Slims don’t last that long. They have quite a long toe box, but I’m kinda used to that now. And I don’t mind shoes that don’t last for ever. Just buy them in the sales.
They’re just very basic and feel almost like a vulc sole because of how thin they are. I like them, but that doesn’t mean everyone will love them. Suede ones are better than the other materials for how soft they are, but you know, vegans etc…

Can’t remember where I read it, but it was in the last few years, maybe when Lopez was doing that Loser Machine thing? But he was saying the AL50 just keeps on selling and has been the biggest C1rca shoe.
