The laces that came with my Kalis could have laced each shoe up twice. Chopped them and tied them behind the tongue but how can they get something so basic so wrong?
I hate long laces, I don’t tie them properly anyway. I tie them in a knot then stick the ends out of the top eyelets

Canät remember where, but like this Shoe Lace Tips (Aglets) - White - Pack of 8 – Big Laces
pull lace through, boil the aglet in water and then trim it down and away you go. Sometimes hot water isnät enough and the soldering iron or lighter has to come out

Ha. I always thought these were called fluglebinders. Turns out that was made up in the Tom Cruise film Cocktail. I haven’t even seen that film!

I’m not usually a ‘Wah, that’s just the normal version with a different logo’ complainer, but I’d be interested to see Rose Anvil slice these up and find out if that is indeed vegetable-tanned, full grain calfskin in these. Or if it’s just regular leather with a buff and a printed logo.
