What the hell happened to the skate industry? (Answer we let the money men in, they sucked it dry then left… ? Or is that over simplified?)
Didn’t Etnies dump their whole team at one point? They haven’t helped themselves over the years. It felt like a BMX shoe brand for a bit too.
No, etnies is still there - but some idiot came in for 6 months, cut half the team and then didn’t add anyone else before “deciding” to move on.
Annoying as fuck as there had been a good 4-5 years building in Europe and starting to get somewhere. And then you get someone in the room who doesn’t get how shit works and they ruin it all in one evening of phone calls.
Things should begin to change for the better over the next year - not that I’m involved anymore.
