Welcome to old man life.
To be fair, I think on the whole the kids are killing it. Fashion, music, art, forging an identity that pays homage to a past we get (as we lived it) but with their own twist. I honestly think this generation are really creatively free in a way many generations before haven’t been.
Not excusing that style though. As old man gatekeepers we can’t..
I’d like to agree but if you saw what I saw every day you might think differently.

Flip in flip out on big, gnarly rails were all fucked up good.
Zion Wright’s part was better than Joslin’s part in my opinion. Ok, so Joslin had that 360 flip down El Toro, but I’m still leaning toward Zion’s flavour of hammers and gnarliness. Good points made earlier about the Red Bull beanies and the overall cross-fit jock stuff going on, but I like that powerful aggressive style of his.

Whilst I agree on his kit, much preferred the footage he has in the black swishy pants, the tricks are still in points for me. Fakie flip tail slide hard flip out was nuts.

Away from Soty, is trick of the year relevant anymore?
obviously it’s Joslins tre flip because of the significance of it but if you look at that Soty montage it could literally be any of those alone let alone things done by everyone else.

I remember watching the xgames when tony did the 900 and during the actual comp and best trick there were loads of mad tricks being landed.
Not sure if it was at that comp or another where bob went super sayan and did that trick off a rail extension amongst other switch madness.
