Stoked!

I’ll put this in here ? It started out as just a small project to film the guys at my local skate shop who were young rippers , little did I know it would take 5 year because of the pandemic and trying to get footage from very difficult people ha . But it’s done and I handed the editing to Sean ( Beaver ) as I was just to flat out and needed fresh eyes .

It’s literally a typical old skool UK edit , nothing arty or fancy , just slams , friends sections and general idiot clips .

FYI Keirans handrail clip was an NBD before charlie Birch got the footage out .

It was that much of a ball ache getting this out but it’s done .

48th birthday yesterday, morning skate, dog walk, collected some newly printed CSC tees, pint in the shop, slap-up meal with the family, Bute Square for the CRV WKD/Forecast event, toke of Tidy Mike’s spliff, chat with @anonymity and @Chopper and many other legends, then too many pints at the after party and driven home by my mate Guto. Pretty much perfect day and I even got a happy birthday message from @hugo

Shop riot at spit and sawdust today. The fun never stops!

Saw Midlands local legend Adam Fletcher yesterday. He still looks like Dolph Lundgren.

Just got home from shop riots. Absolutely amazing day. The 1988 Russian Olympic squad of clones from Supereight probably won the comp but in my eyes the true winners are all the skaters and skate shops who came and of course CSC and Spit and Sawdust

Also healing emojis to Keen Will and Stevie Thompson :face_with_head_bandage:

Is Stevie Thomson the lad that had the bone sticking out? Fucking gnarly that.

Edit - sorry saw on instagram, shuntersthompson, so I expect it is.

Yeah and Keen Will smacked his head on the Vans rainbow rail. I filmed it but don’t feel like sharing the footage tbh. Grim. Rest of the comp was amazing though!

I’ve contributed loads to Spit and Sawdust and so has my good friend Christian. It was a real good feeling today having a big comp there and showing everyone how we think the skate scene can represent itself. I was very proud.

Spit is probably my favourite place on the planet. Shout out to both Jim and Christian for making it so fucking legit. Couldn’t make Shop Riot today but will be back there on Wednesday with the kids from Story Skate Camp

Nice one fellas. Appreciate it. My only disappointment today was finding out that Brixton’s Baddest didn’t make it and that Grove the human nightclub wasn’t there.

Also today coined the epic quote ‘Did you bring your board?’…’Would you bring your football to the FA Cup final?’ Which I really enjoyed.
