It’s incredible. If you’re even just thinking about it then just buy it. I can’t recommend it enough.

This Thrasher is probably even better than the actual books, it’s amazing.

Finished @anon86856945 's book as I said in the other thread.
Somehow randomly found out that CS Lewis wrote a sci-fi trilogy from reading something else online - ordered the ‘The Space Trilogy’ and it came as a 700 page hardback, only £18 from Book Depository. Pretty good so far but I like Victorian era sci-fi and 7 foot tall talking otters.

Recently started Kraken by China Mieville. Loving it so far, quite different to the Bas Lag novels.

Not sure yet as only 100 pages in.
Apparently it was written as part of a bet with Tolkien - he had to write a time travel story and Lewis was to write sci fi.

The one shop in Glasgow that sold it stopped a while ago. And that was fucking Hollister.

Oh my god. It’s really dark and horrible in those shops.
Dark and noisy. Things I thought I liked. And obviously all the customers (and their parents) are fucking idiots.
I was thinking about this earlier… I miss a printed skate mag.
My friendly neighbourhood SOS closed the physical shop about a year ago so I don’t get Free / Vague / etc anymore.
You can subscribe to Free.
They set that up really recently.
