We’ve not been sent to wfh yet and it’s been fucking mental, I work at a busy acute trust serving a population with probably more health issues than anywhere in the country, it’s not really here yet properly but I fear for when it does arrive. I’m normally designing clinical apps but staff shortages mean trying to support our comms team as well. My wife’s a nurse and I feel lucky that we both work for the NHS both because I love my job but also I hope because we’ll not be going out of business this year at least. I just really hope that everyone else gets through all this okay.

Luckily client work doesn’t seem to have taken a hit and usually I’m flying long haul every other week so it’s been nice to get a break from planes and hotels. But when I don’t travel I’m usually in the office out of choice, I never really need to go in but I hate working from home, I like people and feeling like I’m actually at work.

Only a few days in and I already feel like Jack Nicholson in the shining.

Seems like the pub is a no-go now so the Mrs and I took some tinnies to primrose hill this evening. Every other fucker had the same idea but everyone was very conservatively spaced out so it worked quite nicely.

Drinking in the park might be the thread that holds British civilization together.

can we crowdsource a song or something?

Stairway cover?

Just seen the advert for Facebook portal

I wonder how many of these will be bought for the oncoming months . If it wasn’t bad enough having amazon snooping in your house now you have a camera potentially always on

Hope the fellow parents here are doing some YT tuts on how to home school your kid…

Funny thing is old Bozza said not to leave the house but to go out and exercise (at safe distances). So an empty carpark, ect should be fine for a skate, the Prime Minister told you to.

Taking your kids for walks and picnics in countryside, beach, ect should be fine as well for exercise, fun educational field trips. So you don’t have to be sat in 24/7 with the kids and mrs driving you up the walls, sick of the sight of each other, haha.

k

It’s the perfect time for filming skate parts. I’ll be taking advantage of the empty city with the shop lot and getting footage. When security come out we’ll all start coughing and watch them hurry back in.

I still work but stay home otherwise. We adopted 2 new chickens on Friday and have been looking after them, seeing how they get along with the 3 we already had. That and taking care of our garden as spring is coming. I cook and I draw too. Not that different form my routine, I just see less people and haven’t skated in a while but my ribs are fucked up anyway.

Anyone who has not tried Yoga - the Down Dog app is free for two weeks

I also saw PornHub premium is free in Italy for a while although that may be a spoof

At my work, those who can work from home can. Sadly most of us can’t I’m an engineer, we have eng techs etc but the office staff have all gone. So we are picking up all the phone calls etc. Waiting to see what they say today. My work were waiting for the larger part of the company to give them guidance but it seems no on knows what to do yesterday anyway. Today could be fun

Narcos is worth a watch on Netflix and the spin offs. It’s about Pablo Escobar, it is in Spanish and subtitled so don’t try and watch it with the kids running around. I’ve recently re watched breaking bad and I’m trying better call Saul.

If you’re into project cars and stuff check out juicebox for you on YouTube. It’s some Irish lads building a AE86 and they all share a big shed and just video the stuff they get up to.

There has been a Peter Beardsly and South African story collections put out on Athletico Mince.

Gangbangers, you’ve gotta love em.

Try working your way through the Dark Souls series on PS4 - that should keep you busy for a week or so… :innocent:
