Quick drive by snap earlier…
You’ll have to imagine a yellow TR7 on the left hand blurry bit.
Are they making a curry up there?
Is anyone sat crossed legged on a stool playing folk mandolin?
I didn’t have time to stop and sneak up the steps.
My old GP is actually who removed that from my body. It was my big toe nail.
I once hit my foot pretty badly while skating, damaging the matrix of my big toe nail and from there it started growing really weirdly, getting really thick, full of nail fungus and shit. Had to be removed.
By the way, getting a nail removed is not fun. I would not recommend it.
Fucking hell. Grim. I actually have a similar thing where my big toe nail on the right foot grows thicker and crinkly because I chopped down on it with my truck. Also from playing football in too tight shoes. It looks fine but if you inspect it closely it looks different. Might ask my GP.
So are you now rocking no toe nail or does it grow back?
It does grow back, no worries. I’ve actually hurt my foot again since and it fell off again. The matrix of the nail is permanently damaged so it will always grow slightly too thick but there’s no fungus or anything down there now. I go to a podiatrist’s 2 to 3 times a year where I get it drilled and smoothened so it’s comfortable in my shoes and actually somewhat decent if people see it.
Ask your GP what they think about yours. Feet that hurt are hard to ignore.
I’ve had a board nosedive onto the big toe of each foot (seperate occasions) twice. Each time the nails gone black and fallen off. Started growing back ingrown and had to have the toes cut up and messed with abit.
I perpetually have fungal infections and really fat crusty nails.
It’s shit
Yeah mine’s far from looking sexy but it is what it is and it could be worse. Loads of people are doing the RICE thing while we’re looking at our feet thinking they look weird but also thinking about trying new 180 fakie wheelie variations tomorrow. All good.
Rootmouth jellyfish, I think.
Legally breaking into houses to fit meters and came across this relic. Then off to the backstreets of Ambleside.
Weird one after yesterday’s conversation about feet and nail problems: this guy had to get a claw removed this afternoon. General anaesthesia, the whole shebang. He’s doing great tonight. Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory pills for a week. The surgery wasn’t even that expensive.
