Ran from Tintern to Chepstow via this old Victorian train tunnel, which is now a bat sanctuary (if that’s the right term?). It’s probably about 1km long or so. How they made it I can’t even imagine.

Got loads of rain here too, one morning this week I found a slug in my kitchen. One of those twats that look like leopards. It had somehow made it through the cat flap. For fuck’s sake.

Just downloaded this a few days ago after learning about it here. Love you for it - I’ve been in the mountains in south of France for a few days and caught some absolute whoppers with it. Felt like real life Pokémon!

The boy had a funny turn with lots of things going wrong at once. Too many of them being possible meningitis symptoms.
All good in the end, as we thought it would be, but a long night.
