Nah this was years ago, but wanted to pitch into the blunt fakie chat. I think there a level up miniramp trick and as you mentioned, when someone just does them like a rock fakie it’s beautiful. I’ve started having problems with rock fakies on anything higher than 4ft FFS.

Ah ok.

Well lets see the blunt 360 flip today then :grinning:

Same with Blunts, I learned them on the Works mini skating with anon one random day (many years ago) and they just came out of nowehere, landed first try I commited and did them all day, sooo easy but that ramp was easy. Had them on a few ramps after that sporadically for a short time after that but after so many long breaks skating I couldn’t muster enough confidence to bring them back. I really should have forced myself to do them again while I had a personal mini ramp for 3 years. Pours vimto cordial in memory

Backside 180 blunt is way easier if anyone fancies doing one of them instead.

I always slip out of those, they’re lethal to me. Regular/switch blunts I can do like rock fakies

I used to love blunts and switch blunts too. I was skating mini ramps early enough to have learned blunt pull in before ollie blunts were even invented so when I first learned ollie blunts it was straight in, didn’t even think about going to rock. It sounds like I have the same experience as everyone else here where you end up hanging up a few times and you downgrade to blunt to rock which is obviously disgusting and pathetic so you just give up altogether.

When I have tried to get them back again I can’t make myself do it but I find blunt 180s easy because there’s less fear factor.

Perhaps I should try and get one back too.

Blunt to rock fakies can look ace when they’re just smacked back in without the stall. Don’t think I’ve ever done one like that though.

Oh yeah they can, that’s not the way I do them either haha. Same goes for pivot to rock.

I have had the old FS blunt a bit back in the end. Need to find a clip

This does not compute in my head? Do you have to 180 into a nose blunt for it to count now? Am I missing something here?

Yeah I used to call them nose blunts but I think the times have changed.

That looks like the best feeling one.

100% but had some slams when I’ve hung up on the way in, blindside slams are the worst.

Front blunt would 100% be an NBD for me…

Dream trick. No chance though.

Yeah, I even found half cab to blunt backside 180 in easer than blunt fakie.
Used to call it a 360 blunt until I saw that Jake Wooten 360 into a blunt fakie.
Never landed a FS Blunt, spent ages on them with no joy

We need to talk about your limiting beliefs.

I think you need to start a thread of your own to nail one.

Yeah anything’s possible if you lower your standards enough.

Nothing lowered about that, that was sick. Transition is lame anyway, bank to curbs see much better
