Why is the pool of skaters who do well in comps in this country quite shallow at the moment? Is Hinson our Nyjah?
What’s in Doncaster?
That only applies if you’re looking purely at Skateboard GB comps. Other events have much wider attendance from different groups - see Welcome Jam, Justin Parker jam.
I’m aware that they’re not really comps as such but you know what I mean.
Speaking of which, big up Moggins for winning the House comp this weekend after a 21 year gap, he’s like British skateboarding’s Kate Bush

Yeah, they seem like totally different events. I’m talking more about the death of the comp grom - seems like Hinson and Deunha have been coming first and second in ‘the Nationals’ since Skateboard GB started doing them in 2019. Suggests to me that good comp street skaters aren’t coming through the ‘pipeline’, which is a worry for SBGB.
Moggins winning the House comp is so sick though! Get him on the plane to LA 2028.
