Advice and value please on this Fireflex Team rider Gordon Smith item.

Looking for some help with valuation or where to sell it?

(Based in Cornwall, England)

It has been stored in a garage for many years but my serious health condition means I’m looking to sell.

Any positive help or ideas are very much welcomed.

Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your bad health, never a good feeling to have to sell things when you don’t necessarily want to.

Unfortunately, the audience of this forum is predominantly from long after that era. Best bet would be collectors groups on facebook, and checking out listings that have actually sold on Ebay.

Thank you for your kind words.

I’ve seen similar ones on eBay being sold for a lot of money so hoping I’m going to get a buyer who understands its history and worth.

Find Sean Goff on socials, he will know what’s what

Yeah I think that will get snapped up. I had a virtually brand new one in a special leather satchel but it got nicked from my house.

From somebody I won’t name but who definitely knows:

“I’d say in that condition, (shame about the spray paint) around £250-300+ its a fickle market out there. What sells for £350 one day might only sell for £85 a month or less later.
:nerd_face:Nerd Alert! -The blue Kryptonics are seconds as the raised lettering was lathed off on the seconds. Alpine Sports used to sell them. My first set were 70mm red seconds from.the Knightsbridge branch.:skateboard::nerd_face::+1:t2:
